“What are All Those Ribbons For?” Running 4 Trisomy Spreads Trisomy Awareness!

“What are All Those Ribbons For?” Running 4 Trisomy Spreads Trisomy Awareness!

What are all those ribbons for?

That’s the first question people ask when they see Larry and Krissy on race day!

Each time Larry and Krissy race, Krissy’s running chair is covered with ribbons in a rainbow of colors. Each ribbon represents a Trisomy child, whether living or passed. We think its important for folks to see that Trisomy is not so rare and remind them that each and every child is loved and matters, regardless of the time they spend in their parents arms.

Your child can be included with a ribbon by clicking here or the “Request Racing Ribbon” button on this page and filling out the request form.

Every race we start over, so even if you child was included in the last Running 4 Trisomy event, a new request will need to be submitted for your child for the upcoming Alama 13.1 Half Marathon on March 20, 2016 in San Antonio. We’d be honored to have your child “Run with Krissy.” Register today!
